Delta Ray as planned will be an experimental ray tracing engine that can be easily dropped into other applications.  The goal will be to create an engine that can render in real-time for interactive simulations.  It was started by Kevin Salicos in 2009 for the open source software course at PSU.

Current Status:

Looking into reworking the project in OpenCL, which should bring me back to the original goal of a portable system.
